La foire bâloise maintient son format, avec près de 300 galeries en provenance d’Europe, des États-Unis, d’Amérique latine et d’Asie, et ses spécificités, notamment son secteur « Unlimited » réservé aux pièces monumentales.

Bâle. Deux annonces ont précédé cette année l’ouverture d’Art Basel en Suisse. La liste des 36 artistes lauréats des Art Basel Awards. Et surtout, une nouvelle déclinaison de la foire, « Art Basel Qatar », en partenariat avec deux institutions qataries, prévue pour voir le jour à Doha en février 2026. Deux initiatives qui visent à renforcer la marque « Art Basel » en même temps que le marché de l’art et ses relais, en particulier au Moyen-Orient. En attendant, l’édition 2025 s’apprête à ouvrir à Bâle où elle réunit du 19 au 22 juin 289 galeries en provenance de 42 pays.

Basel. Two announcements preceded the opening of Art Basel this year in Switzerland. The list of the 36 winning artists of the Art Basel Awards. And above all, a new iteration of the fair, "Art Basel Qatar," in partnership with two Qatari institutions, is scheduled to open in Doha in February 2026. These two initiatives aim to strengthen the "Art Basel" brand along with the art market and its partners, particularly in the Middle East. In the meantime, the 2025 edition is preparing to open in Basel, where it will bring together 289 galleries from 42 countries from June 19 to 22.
